Our store offers only the best, tested products for your canine friend. We choose products that are designed to improve your dog’s wellbeing and your relationship with your dog. Here are some of the things we carry:
Superb selection of fabulous toys – not the run-of-the mill stuff, but toys that are well made, provide mental stimulation, and provide great value for you and your dog! Many of the companies we purchase from are dedicated to giving back to dogs, their communities, and the environment. We love supporting businesses that have great stuff and do good deeds too!
Hand-picked, time-tested positive training equipment including brands you won’t find anywhere else locally. We like to meet with you and your dog to assess what would best facilitate your training goals. We then fit your dog with recommended equipment, and show you how to use it. These equipment fittings ensure that you don’t waste time, money, and energy on inappropriate or improperly fitting equipment.

Training treats that dogs love for their taste and you’ll love for their ease of use and their reinforcing value. We also have food and snacks that are of the highest quality. Our treats, food, and snacks are endorsed by the Whole Dog Journal, whose editor, Nancy Kerns, frequently visits our center for seminars and photo opportunities! We love raw food and are the area’s distributor for Honest Kitchen dehydrated raw food and Stella and Chewy’s and Primal raw frozen foods.
Books and DVDs from the field’s top authors and trainers. We have books that cover everything from puppy preparation to training issues such as building reliable recalls. We also have books that cover behavior problems such as separation anxiety and aggression. While there is rarely a substitute for working with a highly qualified and experienced trainer, reading excellent material is important to your parenting – and you’ll find that excellent material at our store.

TRAINING/EDUCATION CENTER
In 2009, because of your support, we had the opportunity to expand our already wonderful training center and create our dream comprehensive canine education center – truly a state-of-the-art facility. Its design and development reflect our years of experience with dog and human behavior, group class dynamics, safety and comfort. It also reflects our commitment to trying to leave a smaller footprint and pawprint on the planet. Features include:
- 3,000 sq. feet of indoor area and 2,000 sq. feet of fenced outdoor area to fully facilitate learning and enjoyment
- Fabulous store filled with great products that help dogs, people, and the environment we share
- Wall-to-wall rubber flooring that provides excellent traction and cushioning (made from recycled tires!)
- Central heat and air, along with an extensive fan system to maintain cool, comfortable airflow (and tons of insulation for energy efficiency)
- Separate dog day care areas for dogs of different sizes and play styles
- Comfortable seating
- Excellent lighting (CFLs)
- Restrooms
- Handicap accessibility
- Ample, well-lit parking, far from traffic, for safe loading and unloading of your dog
